A 6:30 start and a strenuous row (first of the season on the sea) against the tide and a strengthening Sou-wester – so Tom, Tom, Barry, Catherine and Roland deserved a bit of shelter to enjoy their warming coffee on the beach by Pinchen’s Creek at Blakeney spit.
But, what have they done with Hoi Larntan?
Ah, there she is…
The row home across to Blakeney was much easier with a good breeze at their backs.
All agreed it was well worth getting up at the crack of dawn to catch the tide and such a beautiful scene with the water all to themselves.
