Another Great Row At Wells.

The late afternoon of 19th April was bright and sunny as Adrian, Vicky, Peter, Diana, Amy and Barry met close to the slipway near Wells Sailing Club. Unable to meet with the Norfolk BrOARDs ladies crew, who had stopped for the evening in Hunstanton, the “Crabbers” decided to launch and enjoy rowing “Hoi Larntan” in beautiful conditions. After the steep slipway was negotiated, the crew struck out for the sea watched by Barrie and Andrea who were kindly supporting. The pictures below will show just how pleasant the evening was – good rowing in a gentle swell with time to drift at the half way stage and enjoy chocolate biscuits. It was a really fantastic outing! It was also great to have several people come to the slipway, before launching, in order to admire the “handsome boat.”
