Bluejacket Returns To Barton Turf.

After the excitement of the Carrow Cup, it was time to put “Bluejacket” back in Cox’s Boatyard. “Hoi Larntan”, meanwhile, was taken to Barrie’s Bayfield Brecks workshop. On the morning of Monday 9th December, Humphrey, David, Diana, Barry and Mark met at Barton Turf hoping for a row before leaving “Bluejacket” on its launching trolley. Unfortunately, driving wind and rain frustrated this aim and so the logistics of securing the skiff at the boatyard were approached with as much humour as possible. See the smiling faces in the picture below. Mark certainly deserves an award for his efforts to remove the bung! It’s almost worth a caption competition …
