Sutton Staithe and Stalham.

Friday 24th January. Conditions were again cloudy but calm as Tom H, David, Humphrey, Diana and Barry set off for Sutton Staithe. The long, straight run to Sutton was clear, smooth and undisturbed when Tom called for easy oars so that we could drift and appreciate the winter colours and also a single Kingfisher amongst the trees. A quick turn around at the Staithe, where branches were being felled by wardens, and we were on the way to Stalham for coffee and biscuits by the Broads Museum. After changing positions Diana coxed us back to Barton with Tom in the stroke seat. It was a beautiful morning on the water.
