Watching Traffic Go By.

The morning of Sunday 17th October was cloudy and cool. Humphrey, Sue, Diana, Barry and Amy set off from Cox’s Boatyard to row steadily to How Hill. Humphrey coxed, Barry stroked, Diana and Amy formed the powerhouse and it was great to see Sue rowing again at bow.

Heavy traffic, in the form of cruisers and sailing boats, was encountered. This made the chocolate biscuit stop at How Hill very timely.

Two kingfishers were spotted on the return journey – another memorable feature of the outing. Diana coxed back towards Barton on a morning which was an enjoyable test of helming skills.
