A Sunny Row To Pinchen’s Creek.

Tuesday 22nd March dawned bright and sunny as the crew gathered around Hoi Larntan on the Carnser. At 7.30 am all was quiet. Steve R, Catherine T, Tom H, Barry H and first time rower Steve MG were undaunted by a flat tyre on the launching trolley and, opting to effect repairs later, took to the water and headed for Pinchen’s Creek. Tom coxed, Barry stroked (before changing positions) Steve R and Steve MG rowed at three and two respectively and Catherine rowed at bow.

The beach formed a perfect setting for the coffee and chocolate biscuit stop. Great to be rowing out of Blakeney again!

Cox Catherine steered a perfect line on the return journey and Steve MG picked up pace and technique beautifully. It was another enjoyable row home.

A quick wheel change with the help of Steve MG’s hammer, a skiff clean and the crew members set off home to enjoy the rest of the day.
