The morning of Easter Sunday dawned bright and clear as the crew assembled: Tom, Diana, Catherine, Steve and Barry. The early start of 6.30 am was well worth the effort. Pinchen’s Creek was the destination and Easter chocolate provided incentive. Despite a strongish westerly wind, good progress was made with few boats encountered. Diana guided the skiff to the beach and chocolate bunnies and Munchies were unwrapped and enjoyed in the morning sun.
For the return journey, Tom took over the stroke position from Barry who moved to three, Steve rowed at two and Diana occupied her favourite position at bow. Catherine coxed carefully, through the increasing number of sailing boats, back to the slipway. The skiff was cleaned, tidied and stored. The crew left in good spirits to enjoy the rest of the day. Happy Easter!
