The King’s Arms, Blakeney, was the setting for the latest CRAB Social on Saturday 23rd April – St George’s Day! Twenty-two ”Happy Crabbers” gathered to enjoy the food and company in the pub’s Garden Room.
Captain Humphrey started the evening in fine style by presenting an engraved hip flask to Richard ”Barton Bard” Andrews. Richard not only coxed the winning crew to success in the competition for the Robin Combe Trophy, he also kept members entertained over the winter with his entertaining, evocative blog posts. Congratulations! Chatting and mingling continued after the presentation and it was a real pleasure to meet up and to hear such a range of stories.
The King’s Arms staff moved smoothly between kitchen and tables serving the food. Many thanks to them.
